Gallatin Chamber tornado clean-up Saturday

The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing a tornado clean-up this Saturday to assist those whose homes and property were damaged in last week's tornado.

Property owners may contact the Chamber office at (615) 452.4000 or to request assistance.

Volunteers for Saturday's clean-up are asked to arrive at the Gallatin City Hall parking lot between 8am and 10am. From there, teams will be dispatched to assigned clean-up areas. Volunteer groups may pre-register by emailing

Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and protective clothing. If possible, they should bring gloves, trash bags, rakes, buckets, protective eyewear, etc. Some items will be available on-site, but any extras are appreciated.

Volunteers should be prepared to work a minimum of four hours.
Teenagers may work with supervising adults.
