Prepare for the next storm

This comes to us from the folks in Continuing Ed. It's a very timely topic and open to everyone, just make sure you reserve a seat. Here are the details:

The Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development at Volunteer State Community College is offering a free seminar entitled "Residential Storm Shelters." The seminar is scheduled on Monday, March 10 from 6:00-9:00pm on the Volunteer State campus.

Continuing Education Instructor, John Cooper, has over twenty years of experience teaching the Basic House Construction class at Volunteer State Community College. He holds a general contractor’s license in Florida, has worked with NASA teaching construction design, and has assisted with the TVA Carpenter Apprentice Program. He is a volunteer for Baptist Disaster Relief and worked in Louisiana and Mississippi in the aftermath of Katrina. He also volunteers in Guatemala, designing and building homes, schools and clinics.
