Social Networking – The Parent’s Perspective

This past weekend, one of our highly technical associate professors, Mary Nunaley, held three social networking information sessions for the parents of the 2008 Science Olympiad competitors. The class is a great concept, and a unique way for parents to take part in their child’s social networking experience, with websites such as MySpace and Facebook. If you are interested in learning more about social networking or understanding the pros and cons, with respect to your child’s participation in them, please contact the VSCC Division of Continuing Education by calling 615-230-3358 to find out about the next series of classes.
