SGA Hosting Debate Watching Party

Tonight at 7pm in the Wood Campus Center Cafeteria, student, faculty, staff, and their families are invited to attend debate viewing sponsored by Student Government Association (SGA). The viewing is free. Pizza and drinks will be provided by SGA.

"There are still a handful of undecided voters out there. There also seems to be an inordinate amount of student apathy towards the election in the first place, and we're hoping to change that," said Richard Green, Vice President of SGA. He hopes for a crowd of anywhere between 200 and 400.

"Before the debate, there's going to be an information session with both representatives. They’re going to let everyone know what to expect, what to look for. There will also be a Q&A session after the debate,” said Green.

According to the most recent edition of The Settler, the representatives for the parties are Marty Nelson, Republican, and Andy Allman, a Democrat running for state representative.
