I'm really glad that VolState decided to close today because it is just too much of a risk right now. I'm supposed to graduate on Saturday so I was just wondering if VolState plans on opening tomorrow or if exams will be postponed again. I live near Clarksville and commuting to Gallatin seems almost impossible at this point. Is there any way that VolState could contact students a lot sooner than 8:15 a.m. like today? Just keep us informed please. Thanks.

i love that vol state decided to close after exams had already started, most of the students had already started to arrive, and after countless other schools in the area had closed. i personally had to drive ten extra mile out of the way to be here today, only to be told that we were closing. vol state's students all commute from across middle tennessee, and this isn't the first time it remained open or closed early when it should have been closed from the beginning. i continue to be disappointed with dr. nichols last minute decisions. hopefully, he'll learn to do better in the future
