There is something special about creating something new and original. Part of the college experience is to branch out and try things outside your comfort zone. Have you ever wanted to share a story that was special to you? What about using your artistic abilities to inspire others? This is your opportunity.
Our 2010 student literature and art publication, Squatters’ Rites, has been awarded first prize by the American Scholastic Press Association for the second consecutive year! Students with original short stories (five pages or under) poems, creative non-fiction (memoir) or artwork should get in touch with the editor, Christina Mankin, or the faculty advisors, Cindy Wyatt and Mickey Hall. The deadline is Friday, February 18.
