Priority summer and fall registration for current students begins next week...and it's shorter this year, about two weeks. That means you have less time to register for classes before new students begin registration. Registration opens at 8am on April 4 for sophomores (30 hours or more) and April 5 at 8am for freshmen. Get the classes you need at the times you want with priority registration.
As always, registration will remain open until the start of classes for each semester. Priority registration is the time you can register before everyone else.
Use DegreeWorks on your My Vol State page to see what classes you need for your degree and then talk to your academic advisor to make sure you are on track for graduation and transfer.
If you are considering time off from college we have this caution: students who skip a semester or two are much more likely to never finish. That may seem obvious, but it's a far too common occurrence. If you can do it - do it now. It will only get tougher in the future to return to college. Okay, we'll stop preaching now.
