To mark Veterans Day, several area veterans groups have joined together for a forum to discuss the impact of the Vietnam War. Six veteran soldiers, sailors, and Marines will speak, along with a South Vietnamese civilian who escaped after the war. There will also be a display of items from the Vietnam war outside the auditorium. Everyone is invited to attend and it is free. The forum will be held on November 15 at 6pm in the Wemyss Auditorium in Caudill Hall on the Vol State campus at 1480 Nashville Pike in Gallatin. It is sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution, the VFW, the Vietnam Veterans of America, the Sons of the American Revolutions and David Black.
