Events this week at Vol State:
Nov. 13 Jazz Music Program: Jerry Tachoir, SRB 151, 11am – 1pm
Nov. 13 Kickoff to International Education week with Student Roadtrip. Currently enrolled students can get a FREE Passport in the Tiled Dining Room from 12:45pm-1:45pm. Visit international education activities this week to get stamps. The number of stamps that students receive in the passport book is the number of raffle tickets they will get at the Homecoming games to be placed in the running for an iPad.

Nov. 14 Forum: What is it Like to be an International Student at Vol State?, Cafeteria, 11:15am
Nov. 14 International Luncheon with guest speaker: Omega Tennant, free and open to everyone, Nichols Dining Room, 12:45pm
Nov. 15 Coffee with the Prez, ask questions of Dr. Faulkner, Cafeteria, 10am-11am
Nov. 15 Around the World in a Day, student country displays, Nichols Dining Room, 10:30am-12pm
Nov. 15 One Book, One Community: American prison system discussion with Reverend Joseph B. Ingle, Caudill Hall, 1pm
Nov. 16 Vanderbilt Humphrey Fellows discussion, Nichols Dining Room, 10:45pm-12:45pm
Nov. 16 Pep Rally, get ready for basketball season, Cafeteria, 12:45pm
Nov. 16 Unraveling Social Justice: Where Do We Start?, Laura Black, Kenny Yarbrough, Thomas Mether, Rochelle Center, 1pm
Nov. 17 Movie Night- “Spiderman Homecoming”, free for everyone, kids are welcome, Nichols Dining Room, 8 p.m.
Nov. 18 Basketball home opener, games at 2pm and 4pm, Pickel Field House, free with Vol State ID, iPad raffle at second game half (see above for entry details).
Nov. 22 Thanksgiving Break: no classes, offices open
Nov. 23 Thanksgiving Break: campus closed
