Get Ahead in College with Vol State Summer Classes


Summer online classes at Volunteer State Community College are a way for students to get ahead in their college career. University students, home for the summer, can take general education courses at Vol State to meet university requirements. Current Vol State students can take classes to speed-up their path to graduation. Summer classes will be held primarily online this summer.

Vol State Summer courses come in four different versions, designed to fit around family holidays and other summer events.
-The first option is full-term summer classes. They start on May 17 and finish on August 6.
-The second option is nine-week session classes. They start on May 17 and June 7.
-The third option is six week classes. They start on May 17 and on June 28.
-The fourth option is an intensive three-week session class. There will be four of those sessions during the summer. The first starts May 17. Check the schedule for the other dates.
The college also offers online courses through TN eCampus. They start on May 24.

New and readmit students will need to apply to the college. That can be done online at www.volstate.edu/apply. Students can also visit the Admissions Office in-person at the campus of their choice.
